About the Item
This is an original unique oil painting by the artist. Sigfrid Andreas "Sigge" Jernmark (July 9, 1887 – July 12, 1982) was a Swedish painter, cartoonist and decorator. Jernmark received his art education at Valand's painting school in Gothenburg and later in Paris. He was best known for his motifs from his hometown of Gothenburg. In bright colors he often painted portraits. He is represented at the Göteborg Museum.
