Thane Gorek's (US based) "Songs from the Forest #1" is an original, handmade oil painting that depicts a giant tree, growing in the center of a stone courtyard, in the process of dropping its orange leaves with the approach of Autumn.
Artist Biography:
Thane Gorek is an artist working in Northern Colorado. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1995.
After graduating, Gorek chose to pursue oil painting, subsequently honing his skills and refining his visual vocabulary. In recent years his main focus has been on hyperrealist still life and landscape painting.
Thane Gorek lives in Loveland, Colorado with his wife and two sons. His meticulously rendered oil paintings can be found in numerous private collections both in the United States and abroad.
