Tim Woodcock-Jones
Tim Woodcock-Jones was born in 1961 in London, studied art, painting and design at Watford School of Art from 1977–82. A full-time painter and designer, who has worked for various design groups, TV channels and publishing companies, producing a wide variety of work including illustration, motion graphics and print design. His paintings are oil on canvas, stylized realism, landscapes and seascapes, mainly views of The British Isles. Themes include the Chiltern hills, Devon coast, Hampstead Heath, empty landscapes, cloudy skies, sunlight and chalk paths leading into the distance. His works have been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries. Numerous paintings and drawings have been sold to private collectors.
