Signed and dated "Tyler Micoleau 1968" in the lower left corner. Presented in a gold colored wood frame. Image size: 12"H x 16"W
Tyler Micoleau (American, 1911-2001) was born in Rhode Island but spent most of his life in Nevada County, California. He was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and an instructor at Brown University. Micoleau moved to Nevada City in 1952 and was a founding member of the Nevada City Art Association. He held his first solo show in 1969, and continued to show his art throughout the next several decades.
