Author Simó Busom (Barcelona- Spain 1927-2020), a landscape painter, trained at the Baixas Academy. He began with watercolors, and from an initial figurative art, influenced by the work of the Catalan artist Ramon Rogent, he evolved towards post-cubism and finally returned to figurative art.
In 1964 he held his first exhibition at the prestigious Sala Parés in Barcelona and, from that moment on, he became part of the group of young painters linked to this gallery.
