This tranquil early 20th-century riverside scene features lush vegetation, rolling hills, and a dramatic sky filled with billowing clouds that create a sense of movement and atmospheric depth. The artist has used vibrant blues, greens and purples to effectively reflect the richness of the scene. Signed with initials to the lower left, possibly 'J.F'. Well presented in a gilt frame with scrolling acanthus ornament. On canvas on stretchers.
