About the Item
Fabulous large Florida painting very much in the style of the highwaymen. I believe this is done by a Jensen Beach Florida artist name, Elaine Defenthaler. She passed away in 2013 and was obviously a very talented artist. The painting is an oil on board measuring 36 inches wide by 24 inches high. The frame measures 43 1/2 inches wide by 31 1/2 inches high. She did drip some paint in the upper left area, but it does not take away from this Beautiful painting. It is getting harder and harder to afford highwaymen paintings

This vivid Florida waterscape is the work of Highwayman George Buckner (1943-2002). It features an inflamed pink sky above which is reflected in the Indian river.
