Two fishermen cast their lines from a small boat into a tranquil river. Beyond, cattle graze on a verdant pasture as mountains recede into the distance. Signed and dated to the lower left. Inscribed "Llanrwst n. Wales" alongside the artist's name to the reverse of the canvas. On canvas on stretchers.
