About the Item
Manner of Abraham Hulk Junior (1851-1922). An idyllic alpine landscape with rustic wooden chalets nestled among lush woodland trees. The composition draws the viewer's eye along a winding dirt path, where small figures bring scale to the mountainous backdrop. Signed 'A. Hulk' to the lower right. However, we do not believe the oil to be by the Abraham Hulk Junior. Presented in an elaborate gilt-effect frame with laurel and ivy running patterns. On panel.
