In the courtyard, a lone figure in a deep blue dress stands near a building, while a line of laundry – vivid in red, blue, and white, sways gently between posts. A slender tree with textured, leafy strokes adds rhythm and movement to the composition, while a burst of orange flowers brightens the earthy tones.
Executed in a modernist style, the work uses simplified, almost blocky architectural forms, contrasting with the more expressive handling of foliage and sky. The palette blends warm ochres, terracottas, and earthy browns with cool greens and blues, creating a balanced, atmospheric harmony.
