Oil on Canvas. Italian school of the late 1700s-early 1800s. The romantic-taste landscape sees a river flowing between rocky banks topped by leafy trees; on the bank, in the left foreground, two fishermen cast their lines into a still-water spring created by a small inlet. The painting bears on the frame a label attributed to Domenico Pecchio (1693 -1760). Restored, it is presented in a stylish frame.
