This atmospheric painting captures a bridge arching over a serene river, framed by overhanging tree branches. To the foreground a figure stands with a fishing rod in hand, waiting for any sign of a bite. The oil painting has been well presented in a gilt-effect frame with a large linen border. Signed to the lower left and dated '63. On canvas on stretchers.
