Vintage Full-Rigged Sailing Ship 1938 Oil Painting
This small piece by Victor Lind (Sweden, 19th-20th c.) depicts a Full-Rigged ship sailing towards the viewer on the open sea. The sky has a slight warm tone, especially around the horizon, and the sails are tinged in pink and green, catching the rays of sunset or sunrise. The painting has an impressionistic flair, with visible brushstrokes in the waves and ship. The rigging and other components of the ship are delicately rendered.
