Zlatan Pilipovic studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Sarajevo. His career took off in 2001, when he launched a four-person show at the Richmond Hill Gallery. Since then he has developed an international reputation, and numbers Barclays Bank among his patrons. Now based in London, Zlatan continues to be faithful to Impressionism, though his deft contra-jour light technique makes him feel like a very modern artist.
