About the Item
“Incrociato” by Marcia Wise is a 24 x 24 x 1.5 inch oil painting which is part of her “Tree” series exploring the colors and chaos of the changing seasons where earthy reddish browns push deep violets and blues into the light filled sky of yellow and orange. The dance, balanced with greens of early spring applied with brush and fingers for texture, call us into the dramatic dance of renewal. “Incrociato” translates to “Crisscross.” This contemporary painting with its expressive use of color will bring light into any environment. The work continues on all sides of the canvas making it optional to frame or not. Signed by the artist on the front.
