Like to "erase" my failiure's calligraphy poems with colors and fill "the body" of the image like it was a prehistoric animal or an imaginery figure . This way, I can recycle my images and paint new creative images. In this serie, "HOPE DUCK" I decided, on purpose ,to write a lot of HOPE and to fill their body like it was a duck. "To call a duck a duck" means to say the true without blemishes. "Lame duck" means helplessness. "Duck soup...

Spring Beauties" - naturalist landscape, colorful, botanical, layered
Located in Atlanta, GA
"Spring Beauties" is an abstract landscape featuring hues of green, purple and blue. This work is framed in a simple white frame behind Museum Glass measuring 28 by 36 inches. Carlyle is inspired by the works of Claude Monet, Edouard Vuillard, Henri Matisse, Walter Inglis Anderson, Charles Burchfield, Ellsworth Kelly, Alexander Calder and Mary Delany. This piece is part of a collaborative series by Carlyle and her husband Thad Lee. This body of work was made in tandem, through painting and photography, that explores their mutual delight in the natural world and within their own marriage. Carlyle Wolfe’s paintings & works on paper are about an awareness of the natural world—becoming progressively, cyclically more present to its rhythms, gaining deeper understanding of its design, & acquiring direct experiential knowledge of its mysterious beauty. For the last 15 years, Wolfe has been making contour line drawings of plants form observation. From her drawings, she isolates silhouettes into paper stencils which she uses to create oil paintings & works on paper – or cut out of metal to make sculptures. Her work is cumulative in nature – gradually marking time & seasonal change, unity & variety, individual & collective beauty. Wolfe grew up in Canton, Mississippi, & earned a BFA in painting from the University of Mississippi & an MFA in painting & drawing from Louisiana State University. She has also studied in Cortona, Italy, & at the University of Georgia. Wolfe has exhibited work throughout the South, including Spalding...

Love Work On Paper
Located in Lake Worth Beach, FL
Love 2017 Keith Carrington Artist statement: A new series entitled "Infinity" deals with the concept of time being not linear but reoccurring past lives, meetings with different people that you've known from previous lives, correcting and releasing negativity from your past, and moving forward in a more fulfilled existence. Keith Carrington’s experiences have led him to express his talents through the fluid & exacting mediums of watercolor & ink. He has honed his skills, clarified his vision, experimented, explored, and expanded his expression steadily over the years, the results of which thus far culminate here. Keith’s extensive travels have roots in the luminous quality of his work, eminently holding the utmost possibilities of beauty and significance. Keith’s most recent paintings explore a spiritual path, he integrates them with transformative healing energies and infuses his enthusiasm into these dynamic pieces that you see here today. Crescent Web, Earth tones, geometric abstract painting on paper, unframed
Located in Dallas, TX
"Crescent Web" is a geometric work on paper with earthy and brown tones. It is part of Kazaan Viveiros' series titled "Passages". A stunning and contemporary painting on paper, this is available unframed. We can have this piece framed for you at an extra cost. A Fellow at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts since 2015, Kazaan Viveiros earned a BA with distinction from the University of Virginia in Studio Art and Religious Studies, and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. With an interest in architecture, plus being a talented mathematician, it is no surprise that Kazaan Viveiros’ paintings are works of geometric perfection. Carefully considered shapes and colours dynamically draw your eye up and down diagonals before pausing or pivoting at junctions. In contrasting effect to these visuals, the subject matter that this work references is natural and fluid, such as water, handwriting, or nature itself. Viveiros' paintings have caught the attention of collectors far and wide. Five of her pieces are permanently installed in the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and have additionally been acquired by individuals such as Walmart's Rob Walton and novelist Danielle Steel.
