Freeman went on to win the Stanford University scholarship and graduated within 1 year. Freeman is most well known for his portraits, earning him the nickname "Rembrandt of the Rodeo". First Lady Barbara Bush was so impressed with his work she invited him to exhibit at the Smithsonian.
