Original painting, made of 3 different round pieces and is inspired by Fornasetti creations.
Nude with Red Glass, is striking and beautifully composed. The use of three circular panels to form one continuous figure is a compelling choice—it feels almost like a moving vertical scan of the human body, reminiscent of early photographic motion studies but rendered in a painterly, expressive way.
The cool turquoise and muted blue-greens give the figure a sculptural, almost stone-like quality, while the touches of warm red—especially the small red glass—create a focal point of emotional and symbolic tension.
The loose, confident strokes and visible texture suggest influences from contemporary figurative expressionism, with hints of Eastern European and Mediterranean figurative traditions where abstraction meets anatomical sensitivity.
By splitting the body into three circular frames, the artist introduces rhythm and segmentation while still maintaining continuity. It echoes triptychs from religious art history—but here, the sacred object becomes the body itself, with the red glass adding a sense of mystery or ritual.
