About the Item
Graphite drawing by Angelo Dall'Oca Bianca, depicting a woman, with some details in white lead on paper.
Angelo Dall'Oca Bianca was born in Verona in 1858. A pupil of Napoleone Nani at the Accademia Veronese, he also later attended the Accademia in Venice with Favretto.
Of his pictorial work particularly significant and sought after are the views of his Verona, its streets, monuments and people.
The drawing is signed at lower right, and on the back is a label with the following inscription: "original drawing by master Angelo Dall'Oca Bianca, executed in the winter of 1920 in my home, Vicolo Dietro Campanile San Tommaso 3 - Verona. Zenari Julius Caesar."
The state of preservation is good; it has undergone light conservation restoration for which the technical data sheet (condition report) is available.
