Oil painting on canvas applied to panel by Venetian painter Carlo Cherubini (Ancona 1897-1978 Venice) around 1950s.
The work in question depicts a female figure intent on emerging from a stream; the young woman is surrounded by varied vegetation of trees and bushes. The painting technique is characteristic of the painter Cherubini through the use of vivid and nervous brushstrokes of bright colors.
The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner.
The state of preservation is good. The measurements of the work are 40 x 25 cm.
