Shipping Procedure FREE Shipping Worldwide Ships in a well-protected tube from Nigeria This work is unique, this is not a print or other type of copy. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (Issued by the Gallery) I was inspired to paint the portrait of an African girl, so people could see life through her lens. For you to see what it is for a disadvantaged, underprivileged child growing up in a world that doesn't care about them. Yet despite all of this, when you look into his eyes, what is it that you see? Every child regardless of their background has the right to Education, grow up in a healthy environment, proper feeding and agriculture, clean water, adequate medical program, economical development, and skilled programs, All these bring immediate and lasting solutions to children and families living in extreme poverty and provides a greater future. - I choose to use my art as a voice for all those children who do not have one. To the governments and other civil organizations who have a moral responsibility to stand up and be counted, that time is now. (Written by the Artist ) - About the Artist Damola Ayegbayo is an Expressionist Artist with a demonstrated history of working in the arts and crafts industry. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Education in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts where he specialized in painting. His works convey the power of the beauty of black African women, the reality of life and morals through color and black beautiful women's faces His paintings have been exhibited nationally and in England, and his works have been acquired by many private collectors in Canada, Australia, England, London, Norway, Washington, Lagos, and others. In Addition, His art has been featured in both national and international publications. Damola’s concept of using a black woman covered with colored faces illustrates how his strong mother trained and brought him up with love and morals, helping him to discover his true identity.
