About the Item
I was inspired to paint the portrait of an African girl, so people could see life through her lens. For you to see what it is like for a disadvantaged, underprivileged child growing up in a world that doesn't care about them. Yet despite all of this, when you look into his eyes, what is it that you see?
Every child, regardless of their background, has the right to Education, grow up in a healthy environment, proper feeding and agriculture, clean water, adequate medical program, economic development, and skilled programs. All these bring immediate and lasting solutions to children and families living in extreme poverty and provide a greater future.

About Artist
Damola Ayegbayo is an Expressionist Artist with a demonstrated history of working in the arts and crafts industry. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Education from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, where he specialized in painting. His works convey the power of the beauty of black African women, the reality of life, and morals through colour and the beautiful women's faces
His paintings have been exhibited nationally and in England, and his works have been acquired by numerous private collectors in Canada, Australia, England, Norway, Washington, Lagos, and other locations. In Addition, His art has been featured in both national and international publications.
Damola’s concept of using a black woman covered with coloured faces illustrates how his strong mother trained and brought him up with love and morals, helping him discover his true identity.
