Daniel Brennan (1929–1989) was an American painter whose work radiates a sense of wonder through bold color and playful composition. His paintings often merge a child-like sincerity with refined artistic control, depicting scenes of everyday life through vivid palettes and whimsical figures. Deeply connected to Kansas City’s mid-century art scene, Brennan exhibited at the Lawrence Gallery, the Jewish Community Center, and later across Texas, California, New York, and Mexico. After relocating to San Miguel de Allende, his work absorbed influences from Art Nouveau and the local cultural vibrancy. Today, Brennan’s distinctive figurative and still life paintings continue to captivate collectors.

Daniel Brennan
