Very good condition
Charles Baret (1861-1934) made his debut as a comic actor at the theater in 1879, and here we have a beautiful portrait of the young actor, full-length and in costume. It is precisely dated June 23, 1879, before the actor became famous as a theater director in the late 19th and early 20th century. He was the one who created the “Baret tours”, tours of shows which allowed the theatre to be exported from Paris to t erest of France.
