Chickens Other Birds In A Farmyard, 18th Century circle of Marmaduke CRADOCK (c.1660-1717) Fine 18th Century English School farmyard scene of various birds among tools and jars, oil on panel. Early and important English school farm scene with birds among the tool and vessels. Excellent detail and distinctly similar tot he works of leading painter on the subject Craddock. Original condition with no notable damage or extensive restorations. Good panel condition. Antique black and gilt frame. No visible signature common among works of thus age. Cradock was a self taught painter from Somerset who later moved to London but deliberately shunned aristocrats patronage. Measurements: 22.5" x 20" framed
