Excellent quality and condition genre scene of two young ladies in their summer dress feeding the birds outside a derelict cottage. Beautifully detailed full length scene, signed bottom right by the female painter inspired by the Pre-Rapahelite movement. Presented in a good gilt frame. Measurements: 44" x 31.5" framed approx Provenance: Christies, New York, 1993 ARTIST: Charlotte J. Weeks, active 1876-1890, is a British 19th Century artist, book designer, illustrator and journalist.
