by Erna Hoppe-Kinross 1875-1964 - close friend of Claude Monet
Large 19th Century French Impressionist scene of the children of summer, oil on canvas by Erna Hope-Kinross. Sunlit impressionist scene of children under the tree shade in summer. The work shows the huge influence her friend Claude Monet had upon Hope-Kinross's work during the period. Excellent original condition and presented in its antique handmade gilt frame. Inscribed verso and signed.
