An American artist and illustrator, William H. McEntee (1857 - 1919) was active/lived in New York, Michigan. William McEntee is known for portraits of "belle epoque" (1870-1890) elegantly attired females. He was also an inventor, holding several patents in the development of the pneumatic tire for bicycles, then automobiles, while living in Detroit.
