An exceptional pastel on paper still life of a vase of flowers, a bowl, and a bird titled "Mixed Flowers and Blue Bird' by Dorothy P. Neaves (American, early 20th c.). Signed lower left, Grace Horne's Galleries label on reverse. Housed in a very nice gold frame under glass with linen lined inset. Her work is often compared to the style of Laura Coombs Hills. Dimensions: 18.5" H x 16.5" W actual; 29.25" H x 27.25" W framed.

He was educated at Howard University in Washington, D.C., the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and the Barnes Foundation in Merion, Pennsylvania.
