The gallery just received this Water Lilies Series III painting by Cuban artist Eric Alfaro who resides in Miami. Eric Alfaro is a Cuban artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited internationally. He describes his current artist expression as having been influenced by the great painters of different periods in history. Working in different styles, hyperrealism is present in a large portion of his compositions. Alfaro's Water Lilies pieces are created using oils on canvas as seen in The Water Lilies Series . It is a series of 4 framed paintings. Water Lilies in the landscape is a very recurrent theme in Eric Alfaro's work, he has painted dozens of them, always looking for new ways to approach this type of scenario. Flowers often take center stage in the landscape and are highlighted to give it greater importance within the scene. With these works he wants to convey the beauty of nature and life, he also pays homage to one of his favorite painters, Monet. As a lifelong artist, Eric Alfaro is always looking for the next opportunity to reflect his everyday experiences in artistic expressions. From 2010 to the present date he has been developing his work between painting, drawing and sculpture through different series ranging from portraiture to landscape.
