American landscape with sunny glow by American Artist Harry F. Waltman (1871 - 1951).
The painting shows a bright sunny winter landscape during sunset. Hints of warm tones reflect off the stream that flows through the center of the piece. Behind the trees we see streaks of sunlight behind pink filled sky during dusk.

He was a prolific landscape and figure painter who exhibited extensively, showing nearly eighty works at the National Academy of Design over a fifty year period. His subject matter ranged from portraits of Esquires to landscapes of Vermont’s Green Mountains. (Vose Galleries).
