About the Item
Sunflowers bring warmth, joy, and the energy of the sun into the space — everything around them seems more alive. These flowers embody fullness of light, resilience, and the constant desire to reach upward. Their golden radiance fills the viewer with calm optimism, helping to find order and harmony amid everyday chaos.
About the series — “Hope”
This painting belongs to the Hope series, in which Ksenia explores the idea of preserving one’s inner light and identity despite uncertainty and hardship. Rather than depicting pain or despair, her works focus on renewal — on finding those subtle points of balance that help one rise, move forward, and assist others in rebuilding their lives. Through the symbol of the sunflower, she conveys faith in life’s enduring capacity to heal and to grow toward the light.

Ksenia Tsyganyuk, born in 1991 in northern Russia, began her artistic career after moving to Rivne, Ukraine. Her paintings—landscapes and still lifes—capture a joyful, childlike sense of wonder through vibrant colors, rich textures, and ornamental details. With a touch of naïveté in her imagery, she seeks to awaken the viewer’s “inner child,” reminding them of how beautiful the world is when one is free from expectations, eager to explore, and ready to experiment. In today’s fast-changing and stressful world—marked by crises, wars, and forced migration—it’s easy to lose balance and feel overwhelmed. Ksenia’s art offers a moment of respite, inviting viewers into a dialogue with their own feelings of lightness and freedom. She hopes to rekindle the emotions of childhood, when one feels safe, at home, and surrounded by love. Her goal is to create art that helps people reconnect with their inner Sun—the light that guides them through life.
Ksenia works in mixed media, blending acrylic and oil on canvas. She favors a loose, expressive style that preserves the spontaneity of each brushstroke, allowing emotions to flow freely onto the canvas.Education
