"Peonies in the evening garden" oil on canvas.Landscape of Lilia Volskaya. To paint this landscape, I used several techniques of oil painting on canvas. 1. The main primer of the canvas is followed by oil mixed with domar varnish. 2. Create the main background with a dark, almost black background 3. Paint each flower with a brush and search for its character. 4. Full coating of the painting with a "dead layer", that is, with whitewash and ochre 5. Coating the painting with varnish 6. Painting the background with blue. 7. Painting of flowers with shadow paints 8.Painting of flowers with a palette knife to enhance the effect of volume and glow of flowers. Lilya Volskaya is a Russian artist who has exhibited nationally. She studied EBRU in Turkey in 2002-2005 and completed a course in painting and drawing in the workshop of Alexander Sergeev 2005-2007 MGAKHI named after V. I. Surikov. The Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. She lives and works in Moscow. Lilya creates using eastern techniques of drawing on water – Ebru, Ceramic Style, and some more traditional - wet acrylic, resin pouring, classical oil painting, palette knife.
