Su obra se caracteriza por un enfoque equilibrado y poético de la naturaleza, el paisaje y la vida cotidiana, con especial atención a las atmósferas, la luz y los ambientes rurales de su entorno natal. Características de su estilo artístico: Paisajismo lírico: Muchos de sus trabajos giran en torno al paisaje, presentando montes, campos y árboles de la región de Girona de manera nostálgica y serena. Óleos equilibrados y armónicos: Pons Junyer era conocido por el uso del óleo sobre tabla y sobre tela, logrando composiciones con una paleta de colores suaves, predominio de tonos naturales y un marcado interés por la armonía visual. Motivos y temáticas: Además de paisajes, abordó temas como la vida rural (“La pausa del labrador”) y alegorías (“Alegoría al mar”), casi siempre con una visión tranquila y contemplativa de la realidad. Abstracción moderada: En etapas más tardías, algunas de sus piezas muestran experimentación hacia la abstracción geométrica y las composiciones decorativas. Trayectoria y legado: Nació y vivió la mayor parte de su vida en La Bisbal d’Empordà (Girona). Su obra ha circulado en subastas y colecciones de arte clásico, especialmente en España, y ha sido reconocida por galerías especializadas en pintura contemporánea catalana. Se conservan archivos fotográficos y documentación de su labor en el Disseny Hub Barcelona y otros fondos históricos de arte catalán. En resumen, Narcís Pons Junyer fue un exponente de la pintura catalana contemporánea, destacando por su paisajismo íntimo y equilibrado y su fidelidad a los temas mediterráneos y rurales de Girona.
