Una Lekuze (1990) Initially, Una Lekuze was going to study law in China, learned Chinese, excellent English, studied Japanese for one year at the University of Latvia, but continued her further education at the Academy of Arts (from 2011) and is currently a student of the painting department of the Academy of Arts of Latvia. In parallel with studies at the academy, knowledge is supplemented in the art studio of Karlis Dobrajs. Works in oil technique. Creates figurative compositions, portraits, paints nude figures, still lifes, landscapes. Specially studied, excellently mastered human plastic anatomy. Various techniques are used in the drawings, pencil, ink - pen on paper and fabric, charcoal, monotype, etching, lithography techniques. The first personal exhibition was held in 2012 in the cafe "Taka". The most important exhibitions: At the big summer exhibitions in Jekabpils gallery Manss in 2011 and 2014. In the Monaro gallery in 2013. Exhibition of drawings in Jurmala Museum in 2013. In 2014, personal exhibition "Paintings" in "Bitvins" gallery. The most important works: "Barbershop" (2014), "Self-portrait in winter" (2014), "Portrait of the Freiberg family" (2014), "Self-portrait with caryatids" (2013), "Drawing" (2013), "Heights of Alexander" (2012) , "The Round Act" (2012). The works are in private collections in Latvia, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
