This exquisite artwork depicts a delicate pink magnolia rendered against a muted grey-blue background. The artist has employed energetic brushwork and an impasto technique to render the fullness of each flower head and the plant's knobbly knots along each branch. Signed 'Purtscher' to the lower left. The work has been beautifully presented in a rustic gilt effect frame with a second work by the artist verso. On board. Image size: 60 x 74.5cm.
