About the Item
Mystery Italian Expressionist still life. This magnificent oil on board came from the estate of a retired Italian diplomat that had a place in Miami. He had wonderful art and antiques including 2 Giorgio Morandi paintings which were to expensive to purchase. I have had this hanging in my personal collection as I loved it. But one cannot hold on to every piece. I have not shown it to any experts and have not been able to decipher signature and numbers. 49 could be for 1949 as board is definitely old enough. Painting measures 25 inches wide by 8 high. Frame is 33 3/4 by 16 3/4. It is in very good original condition.
