A captivating oil still life executed in the old master "Golden Age" style. The painting is presented in an ornate gilt effect frame with floral and acanthus ornamentation. Illegibly signed within the composition to the lower left. Possibly dated '10.53' on the scrap of paper. On canvas on stretchers.
