Clorofila emerges from Eduardo Rezende’s Lavori in Corso series, where the overlooked materials of construction sites become portals into abstraction, emotion, and hidden beauty. Here, a torn green mesh — something meant to obscure, protect, or simply fade into the background — transforms into a living, breathing surface. Light slips through each woven line, revealing an intricate texture reminiscent of leaves, fibers, and the organic logic of nature. At the center, the irregular opening becomes an eye or a window, offering a luminous glimpse of the world beyond.
Rezende uses this gesture of rupture not as damage, but as revelation. The image becomes a meditation on transparency, fragility, and the unexpected harmony between the artificial and the natural.
