From Eduardo Rezende’s new series Rilievo, this photograph treats the skin of architecture as a sculptural field. Curved partitions fold into one another, casting measured shadows that read like a bas-relief; planes advance and recede, and the wall becomes a drawing of thresholds. The restrained mineral palette keeps the eye on structure and cadence, allowing the geometry to breathe.
