Located in Denton, TX
Hip Hop by Earlie Hudnall, Jr. is a portrait of a young shirtless boy posed against a wall, wearing baggy pants and a silver chain. Gelatin Silver Print 14 x 11 in. Signed, titled and dated in pencil on verso Growing up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Earlie Hudnall, Jr. learned the importance of community and culture and photography. His father was an amateur photographer, and his grandmother kept the family albums filled with valuable snapshots. After returning from his tour-of-duty in Vietnam, Earlie Hudnall moved to Houston to study at Texas Southern University. There, he continued his interest in photography. While studying art, he met one of his most significant mentors, John Biggers, the painter and muralist that depicted African American life in the South. He had impressed Earlie to make art that was drawn from his own experiences. His images capture communities much like the one in his home- town of Hattiesburg. Earlie’s strongest work was made in Houston. Earlie Hudnall’s images have been widely published. And his photographs are included in many major museum collections in the United States and Europe, including the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Art Institute Chicago and the National Gallery in Washington, DC. Brothers 1
By Daniel Oguche Junior
Located in Ibadan, Oyo
The bond between brothers, whether by blood or through the strong connection forged by friendship, is truly special. It's amazing how we can find support and solace in those who may not be family but have chosen to be there for us. Martin Luther rightly said, "We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes, but we have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers". In a collective society, it's crucial for us to embrace the concept of being our brother's keeper. By nurturing a sense of empathy and compassion, we can make a positive difference in each other's lives. Whether it's lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or providing support during challenging times, being there for one another creates a stronger and more supportive community. Let us always cherish and celebrate the unbreakable bond we share with our brothers, both by blood and through the deep connections we form along life's journey. Together, we can create a world where everyone feels loved, supported, and appreciated. Shipping Procedure Ships in a well-protected tube from Nigeria This work is unique, not a print or other type of copy. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. About Artist Daniel Oguche...

There is a tactile feel to his material, a positive energy that comes from the light that gives nuance to the subtle colors created. Arranged together with the beauty and dignity of the human body his technique invites us to become one with the scene. He travels around the world to create his images and strives to bathe his subjects in the natural light of that locale. Above all he captures the sense of place, its uniqueness -- cultural, natural or architectural. His newest photographs manipulate the element of water and light to express his vision of the male body – in both its innocence and vulnerability. Thoma uses movement and composition to capture the beauty of the body. The German publishing house of Bruno Gmunder has published five monographs of the work of Thoma. His photographs chronicle the luxurious properties of the Kempinski Hotel Group, the beautiful young actors of Bel Ami...
