Edition of 7; Ed. no. 1/7 Print only Albert Watson was born 1942 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He currently lives and works in New York. A student of the famous Royal College of Art in London Albert Watson (born 1942) is a Scottish photographer well known for his fashion, celebrity, and art photography, having shot over 200 Vogue and 40 Rolling Stone covers since the mid-1970s. His photographs are signature, classical, and bold, and in our world of manipulation, Watson prefers the enlargers and the trays; an artist who greatly enriches our perception with his unique photographic view. Photo District News named Watson one of the 20 most influential photographers of all time, along with Richard Avedon and Irving Penn, among others. Presented in prestigious galleries and museums worldwide Watson has won numerous awards, including a Lucie Award, a Grammy Award, the Hasselblad Masters Award, and three ANDY Awards. Undo No.2 - analogue black and white abstract expressionism, limited edition 10
By Ugne Pouwell
Located in London, GB
'Undo' 2021 The gauzy veil, swept by an unseen force, suggests both concealment and revelation, echoing the duality of identity as something imposed yet inherently fluid. Even though the societal veil remains, its power is diminished—the subject moves freely beyond the constructs seen by constrained minds. Light softly filters through, symbolizing self-discovery and transcendence, a quiet emergence from expectation into pure existence. In this symphony of contrast and motion, identity is no longer bound—it simply is, limitless and free. It is a double exposure film composition. Photograph is a limited edition of 10. Printed on archival Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper. Signed both front and back with Certificate of Authenticity. Photograph is shipped fast and flat in secure thick cardboard packaging. Artist Biography: Ugne is a Lithuanian fine art photographer based in London. Her work explores the intricate systems and subtle beauty of nature, finding inspiration in its quiet resilience and ephemeral grace. By capturing small, often-overlooked moments, Ugne transforms natural elements into visual poetry, reflecting on the delicate balance of life. Awards: 2024 Black Spider Awards, 2nd Place - Merit of Excellence in Still Life Gloriosa 2023 Budapest International Photo Awards, Honourable Mention in Fine Art-Abstract 2023 Black Spider Awards, Honourable Mention in Still Life 2022 Black Spider Awards, Honourable Mention in Still Life 2022 IPA International Photography Awards, Honourable Mention in Analog/Film Fine Art 2021 Mono Visions...
