Björn Persson
Björn Persson has become one of the foremost photographers of the African savanna. Persson gets up close and personal with some of our planet’s largest and most dangerous animals. His black-and-white photographs often reveal a tenderness in his fearsome subjects and show a reverence for the natural world. In addition to capturing the natural grace of these animals, Persson draws attention to the dire need to preserve these often endangered species. A fierce advocate for environmental preservation, he has launched the Here Forever Foundation, which is dedicated to wildlife conservation.
