About the Item
This is a unique photograph of Andy Warhol in front of his self-portraits, taken by Bob Colacello, at Warhol's Frankfurt exhibition, possibly in 1981. Markings on the photo suggest it was blown up or used for publication. This work comes from the collection of Pat Hackett, Warhol's longtime secretary on confidant.
Bob Colacello was also a longtime friend and colleague of Warhol's serving as editor of Interview Magazine until 1983.
