An intimate, rich, dome-topped albumen print of a scene in the Calaveras Grove, north of Yosemite and Mariposa on the western edge of the Sierras. This print is mounted to a thick album board with a title in ink beneath the print. Another dome-topped print by Watkins of San Francisco c. 1880 is mounted to the reverse of the board.
