About the Item
Two nude males lie on a bare wood floor. The angle of the photograph suggests that their bodies have melded into one. The artist uses traditional photography methods shooting the image on film. The image is printed using traditional darkroom techniques. The artwork is tastefully framed to enhance the voyeuristic nature of this artwork by surrounding the image in a simple matte black frame and a heavy white mat. This artwork is framed using non reflective museum glass measuring 11.5 x 11.5 inches.

Birkenheuer received his Associates Degree from the Antonelli Institute of Photography in Cincinnati, OH in 1988. He relocated to Chicago in 1994, where he has built a reputation for exacting professionalism in commissioned head shots
individual, couple and group Portraits. In recent years, he has taught photography courses at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, exciting a new generation with his passion.
