About the Item
This is a 18.5" x 12" x archival giclée print on a 22" x 17" archival exhibition paper. It shows a man diving into mediterranean see while jumping from a sailing boat. It is part of a limited edition of 10 plus 2 AP.
An 11 x 14 inches, edition of 20, and a 59 x 39.5 inches, edition of 6 are also available.
Jean-Luc Fievet is best known for his black and white photographs portraying people and everyday street life. His work is marked by both an expressionistic approach for the close-up portraits, as well as a documentary freshness for the street scenes portraying the every-day life of different urban realities.
Jean-Luc’s journey into photography began by recording intimate moments of his family and the families of close friends. When he moved to Paris he discovered a new world that he adopted immediately, the city. His work then led him to New York, where he settled permanently. He states: “Photography for me is a constant exploration of powerful emotions, of sensuality, of the reality around me and the dreams within.”
