This photogravure is twenty fifth plate presented in Josef Folnesics publication "Alte Innenräume österreichischer Schlösser, Paläste und Wohnhäuser" (Old interiors of Austrian Castles, Palaces and Houses) published in 1921.
"The present publication intends to present a large number of surviving interiors from past periods of Austrian artistic life, both opulent and simple, so that the works, some of which may all too soon be lost, may at least be preserved in imagery and continue to inspire us to recognize, from the diversity of artistic solutions, the universally valid conditions and laws that have held true for all time, including our own.” Preface of the publication
Plate 25: Plate 25: "Vienna, Palais Erzherzog Friedrich, Anteroom at the main staircase" is possibly the only surviving photograph of the Anteroom as it was in the historic Palais Erzherzog-Albrecht that now houses the world-renowned Albertina museum.
