For Coe, the inclusion of the nude female figure—often shown with her back to the camera as though she is blissfully unaware of the artist’s presence—represents the innate human connection to nature in its purest form.
Celebrating the beautiful unpredictability of both the natural landscape and of the human body, each of Coe’s works capture a visceral, organic moment in time. Intended to be framed and hung in large format, his sprawling photographs appear almost like paintings as their sublime energy radiates throughout any space. He also offers his largest double exposure photographs as single editions, making them true one-of-a-kind works of art.
