Released in spring 2025, Solace is a 192-page hardback by Ugnė Pouwell presenting a composed sequence of black-and-white still life, abstract studies, landscapes and portraits, interspersed with brief artist writings. Printed on archival fine-art paper, the book preserves deep tonal range and a quiet luminosity. The Founders’ Edition sold out prior to launch; the Open Edition is now available for immediate purchase.
This listing offers a collector’s bundle: one copy of Solace (21 × 30 cm, hardcover) together with the fine-art print Undo (38 × 30 cm). The print is an archival pigment print on museum-grade paper, signed and numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. It echoes the book’s central themes of emergence, line and spacious light.

Ugne Pouwell
Ugne Pouwell is a fine art photographer originally from Lithuania. Today she makes most of her creative work in London, United Kingdom. Her main focus is black and white landscape and floral photography. Mainly using a large format 4x5 Linhof camera to express the timeless beauty of the subject in focus. Many of the influences come from 20th-century photography. She processes her work from start to finish: film processing, scanning and printing. Her work is mainly printed on the world's oldest paper-producing houses Hahnemühle (Germany) and Awagami (Japan) and some more exclusive work on organic linen and cotton fabrics. Paper and canvas choices are mainly based on organic feeling also adding more special feeling to her work. 2016 Ugne finished her BSc studies at University of Westminster Photography and Digital imaging technologies. Continuing her practice by applying scientific knowledge to her everyday work in fine art photography.

The gauzy veil, swept by an unseen force, suggests both concealment and revelation, echoing the duality of identity as something imposed yet inherently fluid. Even though the societal veil remains, its power is diminished—the subject moves freely beyond the constructs seen by constrained minds. Light softly filters through, symbolizing self-discovery and transcendence, a quiet emergence from expectation into pure existence. In this symphony of contrast and motion, identity is no longer bound—it simply is, limitless and free.
